Nicky knows.

For someone whose social life most closely resembles those of Charlie Bucket’s grandparents’, the past week has been almost too much to handle.

• Autumn was the most inconspicuous house guest ever and a great sport as she lived a Day in the Life of Lindsay. She even got to hear my favorite subway singers.
• The TJs visit was like visiting with family, as always. I shared migraine meds and ice cream with Tracey. TJ let me play with his iPad. We watched Hook and Short Circuit with The Boy, watching him cringe and hide behind blankets during the kissing scenes.
• I finally met my crafty idol, Bridget. Nicky and Marley joined us for crafterly talk and snacks while Kathleen and Mel died slow deaths of boredom, I’m sure.
• I sweat on a whole mess of people Saturday night, drank a few rum & cokes and still found a way to help diffuse tensions that could have led to an International Incident.
• I got a hug from Zuhl, one of the best huggers ever and not the creepiest guy at the tweetup. This time.
• Sween danced again.
• Morrow showed up.
• Nicky came over Sunday afternoon and we did more stitching and chatting and lazing and sweating and Doctor Whoing. And it was awesome.
• Tucker was so exhausted from all the licking of the TJs faces and tug-of-warring with The Boy he was actually calm when Nicky was over. He fell asleep and snored in her lap. It was adorable.

I’m so glad you all came out and played with us. I hope you enjoyed yourselves, and it looks like you did. I love you all. Thanks for the hugs. I’m gonna go sleep for a month.
