The Nicest Train Operator in Chicago
I can tell you how good a day I’ll have based on whether or not this guy is driving my morning train. He is simply the best. He says things like, “Mama said there’d be days like this,” “Go get ‘em,” and “I love you too,” as passengers get on and off. People smile as they see his head poking out of the window of the approaching train. They say good-bye to him by name when they get off.
It’s a bright spot in an otherwise gloomy commute.
