The charming Lindsay (@lindstifa) joined us for dinner this evening, and man oh man was Conner ever ready. He surprised us all by donning his best (and only) suit and tie - in the name of being “appropriate.”
Fantastic company for a terrific dinner. Moments like tonight’s suit appearance give me hope that the inevitable parental surprises in store may just be good ones.
Last night was absolutely delightful. Geoff and Julie prepared a summer feast that was about 20 kabillion times better than anything I would have found on the road between Pittsburgh and Morgantown, WV. And the boys? Oh man, the boys. They are adorable, polite, funny, sweet, and did I say adorable? Not only did Conner greet me with a handshake wearing a suit and tie and his hair slicked back, he also took it upon himself to dim the dining room lights for dinner. This kid has got moves, I’m telling you. Jack is as charming as the day is long, and Alex is such a flirt. They’re doing a great job with these kids.
